Laxmi puja is celebrated from 50 years in Angul. It is celebrated every year starting from Kumara Purnima. Around 40 to 50 Puja Pendals are made during this festival around the Angul district, the puja Pendals are decorated with eye-catching colorful decorations, lights, statues, music melody parties are organized in some of the places.
Thousands of people or devotee from Angul District or from other district or state are come to Angul to enjoy the Laxmi Puja during this festive time.
