ICICI Bank, the country's largest non-public sector bank, going to lunch mobile van banking service to provide banking services in non-banked areas of Odisha and named this programme as 'Branch on Wheels'.
ICICI bank equipped a van with a GPS location tracking system, ATM machine, an UV Lamp detector,
a printer, LED TV, counting machine, laptop.
Two ICICI Bank staffs with a guard are manage to assist the customers ‘ICICI Branch on Wheels’.
This Van will be stopped at specified location for specific timings to support the day to day bank transaction and other activites for the villagers.
This mobile branch will provides basic banking services like savings accounts, loans, cash withdrawal, deposit, balance enquiries, Demand drafts, funds transfer and others.
In first step ‘ICICI Branch on Wheels’ inagurated in two district Ganjam and Sundargarh.
