After Phailin Serious Flood covered Odisha with water. It is wounded all around. Million of people affected. maximum houses, roads, rails, route are affected.
All major rivers are flowing on danger level. More than 1.39 lakh people people have been evacuated to safer places so far by the deployed forces, and sources declares 23 people have been dead due to heavy rainfall.
Around 4203 villages of 95 Blocks in 19 Districts namely Angul, Bhadrak, Balasore, Bargarh, Khurda, Boudh, Cuttack, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda, Kendrapada, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Puri, Sambalpur and Subarnapur have been seviorly affected in the current flood 2014.
33 persons have lost their lives, around 12 persons were swept away in flood water.
Odisha Governments provides Dry food like Chuda, Gur, biscuit and Rice to the affected peoples.
around 1212 boats have been deployed for rescue and relief operation and a couple of helicapter will deploy from center Govt.
The state government odisha has set up relief camps in Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Angul and Cuttack and also providing cooked food to the affected people.
