Legendary Odia actor and director Hara Patnaik passed away on 13-Jan-2015 at 12.40 pm. He was 56.
Hara Pattanaik, he was born on 12 October 1958 in Cuttack of Odisha, India. He start his film carrer from his first Odia Movie Sahari Bagha in 1985 and his first directed movie Daiba Daudi in 1990.
During his 20 years Odia Cinema careers, he got several state-level awards and accreditation. He gave several actors to Ollywood cinema. Among those who made it big in Ollywood after getting a break under him are stars like Anubhav Mohanty, Sabyasachi Mishra, Babushan Mohanty and many more.
His directed some of the Odia hits movies are Omm Sai Ram, , Romeo, Pagala Premi, Thank You Bhagban, Agni Parikshya, Barsa My Darling, Sathire, I Love You, Je Panche Para Manda, Sindura Nuhein Khela Ghara, Mo Kola To Jhulana, Kalki Abatar, Katha Kahiba Mo Matha Sindoor and more
